MYOPIA MANAGEMENT
WHAT IS MYOPIA & WHY IS IT AN ISSUE?
Myopia, or short-sightedness, is a type of vision loss that causes distant objects to appear blurry. People usually develop myopia in childhood between the ages of 6 and 13. The condition is now very common and is becoming more prevalent with 50% of the world population predicted to be myopic by 2050.
The good news is there is a range of products designed to manage myopia and slow down its progression over time. We offer myopia control contact lenses and spectacle lenses to suit different requirements.
CONTACT LENSES
MySight® contact lenses by Coopervision are extremely easy to use, even for young children, and are clinically proven to slow down the progression of myopia when worn daily.
These particular soft daily lenses feature ActivControl® Technology which aims to correct vision and slow the progression of myopia while letting your child be active and free to continue the activities they love without glasses.

SPECTACLE LENSES
If contact lenses aren’t your child's preference, we also offer Essilor Stellest spectacle lenses.
These new-generation lenses also provide an effective and comfortable way to manage myopia. Watch their video below to learn more or get in touch today.
