Tom Klima (BSC FCOptom DCLP) is a past committee member of the General Optical Council.
For many years he was one of the prime movers in managing to set up the Nottingham Diabetic Retinopathy Monitoring Scheme. He manages the firm's workshop, and is concerned with clinical governance matters.
Liz Whitmore (MSc MCOptom DipGlauc) has a special interest in glaucoma shared care at the Queens Medical Centre Nottingham.
She holds a specialist diploma qualification in glaucoma, from the College of Optometrists. Her MSc covered specialist subjects in pathology, children’s vision and contact lenses. She is involved in managing the staff training program within the partnership. Hobbies include dog walking and training.
Joy Neely is highly regarded by her patients, and during her 20 years with the partnership has built up an extremely loyal following who value her expertise and attention to detail.
Gail O'Mara is an experienced optometrist who has lots of new ideas to contribute to the future development of the firm.
Mary Ryan has many years experience as an optometrist. She enjoys communicating with people and working as part of the team.
Katie Blane has joined us as a fully-qualified optometrist, having previously worked with us as a dispensing optician, and having completed a successful conversion degree course at Bradford University. She is currently enjoying Maternity Leave with her beautiful baby girl.
Liz Watson is a locum at our Netherfield practice with many years of experience as a optometrist.
Simon Vernon is a newly qualified and enthusiatic optometrist. Following doing his Pre'Reg with us a few years ago he is back after getting great results and gaining experience in other opticians.
We have five fully qualified dispensing opticians: Alan Green, Mark Swaby, Vicky Hanbury, John Dayson and Nicola Longdon.
There are 25 other members of staff, including frame stylists, optical assistants, receptionists, optical workshop technicians, and admin staff.
